So you tried to scam them and you don't like how it feels to have money unfairly taken from you?

you’re the kind of guy who reminded the teacher she forgot to assign homework on fridays. Blaming another player and confiscating legit winnings and the deposit because of an error on their end is unacceptable. His winnings from the error should have been removed, and he should have been paid and at most restricted from the site after payment. I genuinely can’t stand people with your mentality.

Imo, this book shouldn't be in the top recommended books on this site. Pinnacle, bookmaker, william hill to name a few all have offshore licenses, and they are all leggit and are not anywhere in the top list here.

Regardless of my situation, mybookie has horror stories everywhere online. It's not just me.

I made my peace now with losing my deposit. Just shocked that everyone here defends this website as its a personal bookie. No self-respecting book would steal your deposit, regardless of the situation, and this book should not be in the top
Also really quick, bookmaker has the same type of license as MyBookie. They are reasonable there and have a stellar reputation, that’s the difference. MyBookie is honestly trash now that their bonuses changed. Terrible lines and horror stories. Only reason I had them in the tier list at A for so long was because if you played by their rules it was worth it and the bonus was good.
Didn’t even put them in the new list. Tired of their crap making me wait 36h every time to get paid.

Same as saying shot taking at a bad line isn’t cheating.

If you went into Walmart and someone kept screwing up and mispricing product at 99% below its actual cost - and you knowingly took advantage of the mistake - by law it’s “shoplifting”. No different than if you changed the price tags yourself.

Haha. OP played with fire, and got caught.

But name one case where somebody was charged with shoplifting in your Walmart example.

In some states, the business would actually be obligated to honor the price.

Cancelling the bets certainly makes sense. Keeping the deposit does not.
Guy was basically betting bad/stale lines. That's not a valid excuse for keeping the deposit.
I agree he should get his deposit back, but complaining on forums after trying to rip off a book playing the victim is poor form

Play stupid games with low tier books, win stupid prizes

My point is:
Why is mybookie ranked as a top recommended sportsbook on this forum given this kind of behavior?

It should be removed so that less people try it out. Read online, there are a lot of horrors stories with this book.

We spoke with MyBookie. They have pointed out this house rule from their terms and conditions:

8. Any account deemed to have engaged in the act of courtsiding will be permanently suspended.
We reserve the right to suspend and remove the winnings and deposits from any accounts deemed to be involved.

We understand their position to essentially be that issuing a refund would encourage others to take shots. This doesn't fall under a typical bad line scenario and there is no gray area seeing that the outcomes were already known.

OP can state his case via social media if he wishes but I don't anticipate MyBookie changing their stance, it is a business decision on their part to serve as a deterrent to others who deposit to bet in bad faith.

Thank you, I really you appreciate you giving it a shot!
