MyBookie Payout

Made my first deposit on mybookie about a month ago and completed the rollover for the deposit. I went to make my first payout request this morning and then got this message.

I’m not even sure what they’re referring to here by “hedging activity”. I do a lot of live betting so may have bet both sides at some point of a game…

I see they’re a recommended book on here but the messaging feels like I’m about to get stiffed. What do you think?

Pretty self explanatory.

Betting both sides of an event is generally a no go with any bonus oriented/recreational book.

Even if your betting before the event and taking advantage of favorable lines live betting to lock in a profit - it’s pretty much not allowed.

Just bet one side with this book and the other elsewhere if you must engage in this behavior and save them the excuse of not paying you your winnings.

They’re amongst the biggest crooks offshore and you just gave them a reason to steal your balance. Chances of getting paid are about +500.

The sad part is generally hedging is -EV outside of a few cases, effectively giving back your advantage. Amazing bookmakers don't realize that, although not sure they are bookmakers there.

Nowadays a lot of these TOS's are brutal.
Basically if you had an unreported bowel movement in the last 30 days, they reserve the right to take your money

Thanks all, mybookie did in fact honor the payout (5K) and another one (5K) one week later. I'll be much more careful with the TOS stuff going forward and probably generally avoid playing any significant volume there

Do us a favor and drop this into the Payouts Thread too? There hasn’t been a single MyBookie payout report in over four years of BMR tracking those. I personally know of a few people outside the forum who have also gotten paid by them, so it may be more common than it looks on here.

Either way, glad you got paid.
