Back at it today.

Here’s the conundrum…..do I start playing NHC qualifiers ($75 minimum), or do I stick to the less expensive feeders ($18) and/or bankroll builders ($12)?

The bankroll is still pretty light at $145 so I think the NHC qualifiers will have to wait a while.

Having not tried that venue it is impossible for me to say. I’ll see my friend next Saturday and can ask him how he qualifies each year if you want me to. Just let me know.

Relate it to the big poker tournaments. Big buy-in to main event is usually 10 fold ( $1500 vs $150) cost vs playing satellites but usually need to finish top 10. That said, need to play at least twice as much poker to finish in the money in poker. Main tourny buy-ins are steep, they utilize the cheaper satellites to accumulate funds in the main prize pool where ALOT of pros will clean out the satellite players quickly.

I never played satellites. Its ALOT of poker. Just rather the payout to play 1 event instead of satellite AND the main main event. Always liked Bounty tournaments. Collect Bounty chips as the tourny plays out....hopefully

Thanks all, for the tips and well-wishes. Weekend was busier than I expected so only found time to play two-rollers. Blanked on both. -$24 on weekend.
