So essentially, you're only taking guns out of the hands of the good ppl who need to protect themselves

You can’t lock up every shoplifter. We don’t even have close to enough cells for that. You don’t ever think past “put them in jail”. Plus we already know that jail doesn’t reform, it makes people better criminals. You’re way too short sighted on what you think the answers are.

Don't get my a$$ started in this topic. We had a guy busted stealing catalytic converters in the neighborhood. He got caught by a home owner who held him at gunpoint at 3 AM until the cops arrived. He had 4 converters in the car, which was stolen.

The POS had been busted 14X for the same offense in the last 2.5 years. Yep. MFer was released every time. This guy should be in pound-you-in-the-a$$ prison for 2-3 decades for the trouble he's caused.
