This might end Ryan Day at Ohio State. He is consistently losing the only game that matters to some Ohio State fans. He needs to win a National championship now to take away some of the sting of losing to Michigan but I'm not sure some fans will ever forgive him for losing to that team up north.

He should leave on his own. He was born on third base and thinks he hit a home run. He was given a championship program and never won the big game. OSU needs a surgical tactician to get over the top. The talent wins 80% of the games, but a smart tactician will win 95% of those games.

Amen to that

This is my whole point about the playoff

Reality is Ohio State is still going to go. In past years they’d have their season end

But now they can play a shit game and get away with it
They don't even get the pleasure of losing again to Oregon next week.

Not sure who the hell goes between Indiana and Penn St now, considering they both have 1 loss and didn't play each other

Vrabel would be a good fit - but agree he wants nothing to do with college.

Cannot blame him either - Columbus is just one of those college towns where NOTHING matters except the local football team - 365 days a year.

Outside of Tuscaloosa - not alot of cities like that in the nation - and how freaking big is Tuscaloosa compared to Columbus ?

Did a decade there - won’t be back. The best time to do anything is game day at noon as EVERYONE is home watching the Buckeyes. They will lead off sports on a June weekday talking Buckeye FB vs covering baseball down there. It’s just strange to me I guess. Even in the South where football is equal to religion - the coverage across the sport - not just THE local team. Guess having no near equal in state or nearby plays to their advantage.
