More JDS Drama

He was placed in post review because:

When he and others gone at it lately, he reported any derogatory posts aimed at him and wanted them deleted or moved

Which we did

Last night when he did the same in stormtrooper’s thread, I deleted and/or moved just he same, and he insisted on continuing and said he was not going to stop

Therefore, post review was the only option to stop it

No disrespect her at all, but nothing I said was addressed, but it is what it is. No biggie, all good.

You would be very surprised how many people have him blocked. I am not going to name any names but it would surprise you. I would love to know how he has helped the site. By making threads and posts? There are more people here that put up more numbers than him. It’s embarrassing to be honest.

Respectfully Illini - I’ll disagree that JDS helps these forums.

His personality is not everyone’s cup of tea - so what if he’s abrasive and doesn’t take shit from people who are constantly spreading it ? It’s a gambling forum - and it’s refreshing to have someone who doesn’t let the bullshit go unchecked.

Does he spread his own share of the fertilizer and does he object to anyone who calls him on it - sure. But end of the day he draws way more eyeballs to these forums than many of the calmer posters.

You don’t tune in to reality tv to watch a bunch of people sitting around agreeing - you tune in for the dramatics and the tantrums. It’s posters like JDS who give BMR that edge it desperately needs.

Variety is the spice of life and the good thing about BMR is members get a variety of opinions and styles as well as several solid handicappers sharing opinions.

I don’t agree with trolling those who post losers - at least those who aren’t repeat stiffs or overpaid posters. But aside from that JDS is a solid person and poster. If there’s any poster who I’d expect to appreciate a poster who brings drama to a forum - it’s you.

The mod crew here does an overall decent job of walking that tightrope of letting posters create drama but not letting it go too far. Are there some who seemingly get WAY more slack than others - absolutely. But some of those who got the shorter leash probably would have been gone no matter what. In the end live and let live - god bless.

We can agree to disagree , you lost me when you said he is a solid person, I can't say that about anyone on here except for a few which I know personally and have spent time with in person for many years which I know their families and we get together off of the forum world. I would never call someone a solid "person' that is just a poster ,but I could say they are a solid poster, huge huge difference. I have met many "solid" posters that I met in real life that turned out to be complete losers in real life. Big big difference.

I’ll stick with mine as a solid person.

As far as several solid posters being just that - we agree. I’d say better than half the posters here are solid as posters - individuals not so much. Again, it’s a gambling forum - want to find solid people look elsewhere in general. But the 2 are not mutually exclusive either - I’ve met several people through gambling who turned out to be solid friends. Just learn never to rely too much on someone to be a solid person until they have proven themselves.

I think it's fine to have disagreements and "edgy" dialogue

But the reality is he's the one spreading the bullshit most of the time -which makes him not letting the "bullshit go unchecked" kind of a pot and kettle situation.

And he is doing it both on and off the forum, which is egregious.

I don't mind the back and forth shit it general but he takes it way too far and has a pretty awful double-standard
