The Mets are one of the hottest teams right now in all of baseball, winning five in a row, and today they’ll be looking to make it six in a row as they get ready for game two in this three-game series against the Red Sox
Peterson is 8-1 this season with a 2.83 ERA, and he’s been dealing as of late. Peterson was 3-0 in the month of August with a 1.86 ERA. Taking the mound for the Red Sox will be Kutter Crawford who is 8-12 with a 4.12 ERA. Crawford hasn’t won since August 13, and unfortunately for him, I don’t think he’ll be picking up that win today against a red hot Mets team. In the Red Sox last 14 games, they’re batting .208, averaging just 3.1 runs per game. As for the Mets, they’re batting .241 and are averaging 4.4 runs per game.
