We're 3 months into the season so starting pitchers have had a few games.
I like to see which teams have the "best" starting rotation.
Data set:
- Limited to starters on each team with 5 or more starts.
- Only the top 5 starters for each team used to find Avg ERA for the team.
- Listed by Avg ERA. WHIP, K/BB are also good measures but I stuck with the standard ERA measure.
There are a few players coming up from the minors that are pitching well for many teams but only those with 5 or more starts were included. Also, some really good players may be returning (i.e. Ohtani) but not included due to min start requirement.
