1-2 -1.51 Sunday (no plays Monday)
10-8 +0.66 over 7 days
SD Padres RL -1.5 -105 vs Cincy
Same as usual here. Padres pitching, batting, relief pitching all better than the Reds. Pitching: Musgrove (SD) vs San Martin (CIN). Musgrove has been consistently good over his 3 starts. Sanmartin looked good vs the Dodgers in a start but not so much against the Padres and Atlanta. Yep Sanmartin is going up against the Pads for 2nd time in 4 outings. He stat line was 5.1 IP, 4 K, 1 BB, 8 H, 5 ER during that game. Reds lost 6-2. I can't see it improving with the SD batters having seen him just a week ago. During the Reds' 11 game losing streak (broken Sunday vs Cards) they lost by 2 or more runs in every game. Meanwhile the Padres have played a series against ARI, SF, ATL, CIN, & LAD. Out of those teams, the "worst" of those teams (aside from Cincy) is ARI. They won 3 out of 4 games against ARI, all by more than 2 runs. Musgrove pitched in one of those starts with a 5-2 win.
A few more later.
