I don’t think we ever got a real answer on how old he was. But I know he was an adult during the American war. I hope he’s ok. I would say he’s around early 70s or late 60s.Yep. Its been a while.
Kind of worried. He was pretty old. Hope all is well.

Sorry to hear about the workplace being pricks.Unfortunately yes. Was presented to me like come back now - or we won’t guarantee your job will be here (despite my disability claim being approved a couple more months still - and we know those bastards aren’t giving you any more time off than you reasonably need).
Was told I would be “eased” back into things - try to keep the stress level down. That lasted about 3 hours until all hell broke lose and my boss gave me “well - it is what it is” excuse.
Getting interesting now though - had an interview yesterday with someone else - they just called inviting me out to lunch to meet the senior leadership team. I don’t know - guess worst I get is a free lunch out of it. I’m under no delusion that ANY company gives a shit about their employees lives/health - just so long as the best person who can do the job cheapest is in place - but just kind of got me thinking. Worse - I work with freaking morons - its job security in a way, but in another way its 80% of my job fixing others screwups and that’s a whole level of stress I’d like to avoid.
I appreciate Sharp a lot and yeah, sad to see this part.@sharpsquare probably got tired of wasting his time creating the daily game-discussion threads that only a handful of ppl interacted in![]()
The biggest misconception in sports forum historythey've had to reduce the paid poster budget.
numbers are down, doesn't make sense to spend on that anymore.

I think you would agree that in All of these years on All of these different sports forums , we’ve never seen as many guys speculate about ‘paid posters’ and have a problem with it in general as much as we have had hereHappy Holidays Archie, hope all is well!
believe me, I have never been important enough to be a paid poster
I have been a part of a lot of these forums over the years from the small ones to the big ones I just post where I enjoy posting. some of these places are so toxic and filled with scumbags that its not worth it while others are much more enjoyable.
BMR from day one has been one of the better places to post from a pure environment standpoint. Which makes it worth taking the time to post a simple daily thread or reply to other's posts etc.
