Meh.... It wasn't that difficult. 4 man job.

Jimmy tracked the truck from the last show, which we knew would stop somewhere along the route.
Billy had worked at Brinks in the past so he knew how to get into the truck.
David was the muscle... some of those containers were freaking heavy.
I knew where to fence the goods and drove the truck we used.

It wasn't close to $100M in value though. Those dealers just want a huge insurnace payout.

Worst part was, after the job, we had to fill up at Flying-J gas pumps because we were almost out.

my first thought was how could they get away with it - wouldn't there be tracking devices within each of the individual containers that held the jewels?

and wouldn't each container have a sophisticated locking mechanism which would have to broken in order to get inside and remove the tracking device before one could haul off with it?

Because employees today feel they are entitled to do whatever they want and use any excuse possible to get away with it. Many are just lazier in general and looking for a free government handout. I have worked with people that felt it was their right to sleep on the job as long as "their work" was done. I have seen that in production and in healthcare.

You would be surprised how dumb and lazy today's workers are. You wouldn't think you would see someone sleeping next to an acutely ill patient that you hired to babysit for because they are acutely ill and to top things off you are sleeping with a weapon in your possession that could get everyone on the unit killed.

You would think your are hired to babysit an acutely ill person and you are also in a contact precautions room in a gown watching such person in a camera room none the less but still think it is a good idea to watch porn on your phone and jerk off not once but twice while the patient is sleeping. Florida workers were something else. Every night sleeping on the job

In the 1st example, said employee than tried to use the race card questioning why he couldn't sleep if the patient was sleeping and management only had a problem with it because of the color of his skin and they were being racist.

We had 15 minute suicide checks. I legit walked in on a sitter going WWE on a patient. Thing with the older population and diseases like Dementia. They can't hide ignorance and being a racist. You should hear the shit my co-workers were called why they were saving their life. It was beyond bad. Anyway this kid I guess thought he was gonna get his revenge. I walk in on him giving the old little dude a suplex. WTF...
