Max Juice/Odds on a Bet

At what point do you think a bet is too juiced and look to the other side for value and/or just don't make the bet?

I think I am betting too high faves at times. I am getting games right but low ROI.

Yesterday lost with the Phillies -150 ML. Should I have bet -1 instead and pushed if they only won by one?

Trying to figure how to actually be profitable and not just assume i am cause i win bets.

Makes no difference ............. I.E.-------if -1480 is +EV, bet it.
