Maui Invitational Starts Today - Loaded with good teams

These conference tournaments to me are hard to predict

Its still a little early to tell who is actually going to be good.

We're finally getting to teams having had 5-6 games played but even then, most games have been against bottom feeders to start the season.

Well Maui showed us one thing Auburn is probably the best team in the country right now. They've got it all size, athleticism, shooting and defense. They'll be tough to beat in March just because I think they're a matchup nightmare for teams and Johni Broome might be the best player on the floor at all times which is crazy when you think about how good Auburn already is. I'm interested to see how they do when they go to Cameron Indoor Stadium December 4th to take on the Dukies.

Yeah they're long at every position which is going to make it tough to score against them. They're the only team right now that looks the part of a Final Four team. It's only November though so plenty of time for other teams to get better and catch up to Auburn.

UConn shouldn't have been ranked that high to begin with. They lost too much from last year. Dan Hurley is a heck of a basketball coach regardless of how you feel about him but his team is not good this year. They look more like a bubble team this year and I don't think that's an overreaction to what we saw in Maui because like I said they lost too much from last years team.
