Nah he's been in there every week he's just older. However I don't think he's the problem with the Chiefs. It just seems that they're not as fortunate as they were last year as their record in one score games is pretty bad this year while last year they were very good at winning those games. My theory is they're getting older and the breaks they were getting last year just aren't going their way this season.

That was their problem in the Super Bowl. The Eagles defensive line dominated the Chiefs offensive line and Mahomes had no time to throw. I thought they'd fix this in the off season but it appears to be an issue again this year. I'm not a Chiefs fan but I see online that a lot of people are blaming the coaching this year for failing to make adjustments which kind of goes back to what happened in that embarrassing loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl last year.

Difficult to fix your offensive line in one year

Just because the Chiefs are the Chiefs a lot of folks probably thought they’d wind up where they’ve been the last 6-7 years or so

Not a bad theory when you have 15 under center

But to me they’re like watching a boxer grow old overnight in the ring. They just aren’t doing some of the things they did in past years to near guarantee wins down the stretch.

They need to retool at some key positions. Luckily they still have Mahomes and guys like Humphries

Unluckily they likely won’t have Reid for much longer
