Beat me to it
Reading the tea leaves Dallas thinks they're built to win now and the only way they can do that is if they defend better. Luka isn't a great defender but AD is so that said I can see why Dallas made the move. Also AD has been healthier since playing for the Lakers and he can really help a team like Dallas that already has a great playmaker in Kyrie. Might be a better fit with Dallas than he was with the Lakers.Really surprised Cuban let Luka go
He’s only 25 and one of the most exciting young players in the league
AD is great when he’s healthy but those times have been few and far between too often and he’s 31 years old. Pretty old for a big man
This is bizarre Storm.I’m surprised that Dallas would do this
Wonder if behind the scenes he asked to be traded
I can’t remember a more shocking NBA trade in my lifetime and I’ve been following hoops a long timeI’m surprised that Dallas would do this

Trades don't happen too often like this but big free agent signings do. The Lakers always seem to acquire the next superstar to lead their franchise and they did it again with this trade.I can’t remember a more shocking NBA trade in my lifetime and I’ve been following hoops a long time

It's not free agency but what I meant was the Lakers always get their next superstar whether it be free agency or trading for him. In this case Luka is the next superstar in LA and will take over as the face of the franchise once Lebron is gone.Obviously free agent movement has become huge last 30 plus but this is not that
