Agreed.

Simply trying to make sense of the tragic loss of a son I’m sure - but here’s a goddamn idea - why not get your son some help while he is alive - projected NFL status and stigmas aside.

You can’t tell me there were “no signs” of problems over the last decade plus. Teenagers are clever - but they aren’t exactly smart in general. There had to have been signs the kid was struggling with some things before the accident. I get dad is now simply overwhelmed at the moment - but at the same time got to think there was a chance this tragedy could be avoided too. It’s just sad all around - but the only “innocent” life lost was the man in a Kia (and how severe were the injuries of the other involved).

Also comes down to where in the hell did the kid get the gun ? Again - family knew he had issues clearly - why are they not doing something before he killed another innocent person ?
I understand that it’s a coping mechanism as KVB explained, but I think it’s a copout & it‘s just a lazy convenient bullshit way to help grieve. You especially don’t say that when your son commits suicide. The majority of the people that make that final choice to end their life are not saved by Jesus Christ, because that wouldn’t be a fuckin’ option for them psychologically.

Yall been keeping up with this?

Lacy’s lawyer representing the family I guess said he had evidence that he was way behind the accident that killed the person and played no part in it

Causing ESPN’s Ryan Clark on MNF I believe and Pat McAfee to come out and rip the police and declare Lacy innocent.

This all forced the police to release footage of Lacy driving like a bat out of hell passing people in the wrong lane going 88 MPH. Seconds later you hear the fatal wreck - one guy dodged Lacy’s green car and rammed the person who died.

Lacy then fled the scene

The two ESPN personalities have since apologized

Sadly, this happens all the time to regular people. Just imagine the ones we don’t know about.

No matter the circumstances...... Sad to see

RIP
I feel sorry for the kid's family.
