@fishhead @jjgold I think the industry needs some new blood in the water for 2025. I had a revelation last night. I think with the brain power of you both, your connections, your respect you both have on and offshore, you both should start a small PPH book. You would do very well and would build slowly. Please let me know if this can come to fruition. I will be your first client. You both know and understand the player and what the player longs and yearns for in a book. You will listen to the player. I am very serious about this. It would do well.

Perfect business idea for JJ - start out with $100 - go to bank and get 10 rolls of quarters - start breaking them open and searching for pre ‘64s.

Worth about $5 a piece these days.

I’ve got like 50 rolls I bought for $10 a roll at auction a couple of years ago - never sorted. All rolls marked from a bank who closed in late 70s. No one bid because you can see top coin were early-mid 70s so assumed “worthless”. Odds of there being at least 1 pre ‘64 out of 40 in each of those has to be pretty good I think.

Worst case - I paid face value for a bunch of 70s coins and get a few more bicentennial quarters for the jar.
