I think there are more people of Spanish heritage in Cebu than in most other places in the Philippines, correct Genie? Cebu is one of the first places Magellan landed and it's where he died also.

I think people in Manila speak more Tagalog than Spanish, at least that's my experience with the people I've known from Manila. Yes, they also speak Spanish but prefer to speak in Tagalog.
