Well day 7 was a 0-3 washout leaving my balance at around $250.

So after 1 week and 28 bets I am about $30 ahead toward this Vegas trip.

I've had a few other bets I have not posted over the last week and the balance is just over $400 again.

But obviously I cannot rely on betting these big favourites for small amounts to get to $3200 in the next week or so, so have come up with a new plan. At the other extreme

I've picked out one bet to go allin on on Sunday 27th May. Daniel Ricciardo to win the Monaco grand prix.

Right now he is paying 6.50 so I need about $500 on him to hit the target at those odds.

I've put $100 on him already but want to wait until closer to race time to make sure the weather is fine before adding the rest.

Anyway, the plan is to carefully build up the balance over the next week with the plan to go allin on Dan Ricciardo to get me to Vegas for free.

Final result was $2350, so $850 short of the target but close enough so I can justify the expense to go.

Will withdraw to my Ladbrokes card and use it to pay for flights an hotel in the next week or two.

I'll leave a couple of hundred in there and start again trying to build up a bit of bankroll for the trip.
