I finished a good majority of it but then then I ended up taking the rest home. It looks a lot better today and feels better so I'm going to see how it is over the next couple days

Swish your mouth out with listerine or 3% hydrogen peroxide. It will sting but it will keep it from getting infected. Lucky because the mouth usually heals fast.
