The guy who was doing the interviewing was weak. He wouldn’t go deep and ask the tough questions about HIV, Sheen’s homosexuality or bisexuality, or pressing his ex-wives on some of his worse actions.

Also let Sheen off the hook on the Corey Haim/Corey Feldman allegations other than to let him deny them.

Whenever some of the folks being interviewed were getting emotional and perhaps were at a good vulnerable spot to answer a tough question, the interviewer at times would break the fourth wall and on over and console the subject instead of asking more questions

He also let Charlie Sheen get away with fluffing over a lot of stuff, although Sheen did get pretty deep into his drug use in the documentary.

Jon Cryer did participate but you could tell he still totally resents Sheen for what he did to Two and a Half Men.

Denise Richards didn’t really get too deep into criticism because you can tell she still really cares for Charlie and obviously they have kids together.

And also Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez didn’t even participate. So any clips of them were 30 years old.

Bottom line though the fact that the guy was such a feeble interviewer was a total detriment to the documentary. He was more interested in being Sheen’s friend as well as a friend to everyone else he interviewed for the film, rather than digging deep and asking the tough questions.

Sad but I did not expect different. These documentaries never really say things we don't know cause if those things were important they would have come out already.

"Jon Cryer did participate but you could tell he still totally resents Sheen for what he did to Two and a Half Men" - I feel the same as Jon. I loved that show. The reruns are must watch for me. Charlie ruined a golden goose.

NEVER do crack!
The one thing I did learn from the documentary - if I was shocked before that Charlie Sheen is still alive after all the 💩 he’s put into his body over the years - I’m even more shocked now.

No question that dude shouldn’t be here today

Not his time yet, or maybe he's a friend or made a deal with the Grim Reaper.
