You ever been to the derby??

A lady I used to work with and her husband went year after year to the derby and all the big races across the country. I have derby day shirts from about 5-6 years in a row.

Sometimes at work I’d tell my boss I had a project going with her and I’d go upstairs where her office was and we’d cap the races and just talk horses for an hour or more.

. That’s awesome.

Only been to the Derby once. The year Giacomo won. Was there Thursday through Saturday. I enjoyed the lead-up days more than Derby Day. Oaks Day was great.

Weird phenomenon, windows were packed all day long, except leading up to the Derby. I guess people bet it way before hand.
