This Monday night football game is going to be a pretty good one to end the week after we got a stinker on SNF. I decided to attack the total on this one although I lean with Detroit plus the points on the side which is a BMR contest play for me. The reason it's just a lean is right now I can see how you can make a convincing argument for Baltimore to cover the spread at home. They have looked awesome through 2 weeks especially on offense and if they didn't choke against Buffalo I think I might have sided with them. However, I think this game will be a shootout that comes down to the last possession so I'm going to pass on the side and go with o53 before it goes up prior to kickoff.

I still like Cleveland's chances to win the West. A lot of momentum and 3 at home vs Texas (eliminated) while Detroit has 3 on road vs Boston (who needs to win as well).

All the good work I did in college football done in by one horrible day in NFL where I went 0-4. I knew this card was tricky but I didn't anticipate giving it all back. At least I manage my bankroll properly so I don't get completely buried when this happens but it's still frustrating to say the least.
