Not Power 5, Will see Notre Dame most of the season though as they usually face P5 schools.

Better question is why RYP is using BYU and Houston games and not Notre Dame, but that is outside BMR control, see second paragraph Post 15.
Thanks for the response.

Probably because it is an early game. The two they have listed are late and high profile. They don't really want to start off with too many games since most people will join late to contests.
That’s my best bet for tomorrow, so I was disappointed that it was not listed.

In post #1 of this thread, it indicates the contest starts Aug 29th.

RYP has 2 of the games prior to that date available to pick from:
August 26th Vandy/Hawaii and USC/San Jose

  • Are we allowed to pick from those two "early" games as part of our pick of 7.
  • Also, similar to the NFL, do we have to pick all 7 at the same time or is it slightly different for CFB contest?

Thanks for the contests LT/BMR.

My bad, I did not realize when I started thread that Week 0 was included since first deadline for picks is September 2nd.

What are the rules for betting on games with no line? "N/A"?
They are Not Available, Those are Power 5 vs. FCS schools
I think it needs to be monitored because it looks like it allows you to make one of the N/A games as a selection with no point spread. We need to make sure no one can pick these N/A games on a weekly basis.

WOW. We are following up with RYP today, but pretty sure if they can't prevent picking an N/A doing so is an auto-loss as play will not get graded. Let's see what their response is first though,

Correct. Should be an auto loss if someone is able to select a N/A game with no spread as one of their 7 picks. It would obviously foul up the contest if several were selecting games that would be 40-point plus spreads as pick ems and getting credit for them.

Correct, but if they are indeed auto-losses, then a good thing if they can't prevent picking them. I am still awaiting word.
