Was a pretty dismal show.

Have no issue with Cena losing - sometimes that’s how it is when you’re going out. But no speech or anything from him. Just others crowding around and he just walks away. The match had too many false finishes, as well. Table spot was the only big moment but seems they use that in every main event now.

Undercard mostly blah. Cody with a crap DQ finish and the never-ending Drew stuff. Bayley’s matches are always a waste. Tag match was ok overall.

I can definitely see him coming back another time. Maybe the WM 43 in Saudi Arabia. Even if it has to be in a tag match or something.

When they announced the whole tournament deciding Cena’s final opponent, I cringed that Joe Hendry would somehow get involved and pushed to face Cena. At least they didn’t do that but it’s so lame Hendry was even on the show at all.

It was just a cheap way of sneaking Joe Hendry in when they knew a large viewership was awaiting the main event. They chanted “f*** you Hunter” at the end for a reason!

I guess they figured doing it like this gave the match more standalone attention. But his whole farewell year was a fiasco in a lot of ways. They messed up the beginning, the end, and just about all in between.
