I remember several years ago, it was “required” to be shaven, suit and tie, show up 15 minutes early. Now it seems completely more casual and “come as you are” ??? What would you wear and show up as for an interview these days?

I think a lot of it depends on the industry and the company culture. For me personally for any interview I would always dress up

My son had a Zoom interview for a job at a medical clinic. He's a doctor of physical therapy.
He wore a suit but everyone interviewing him was casual (no ties, no suits). He did not wear the pants since it was on zoom. He was wearing shorts to be comfortable. Thank god they didn't ask to look at his shoes.

So true. I’ve heard that the common theme is to agree to an interview and not even show up. Not even the courtesy of a phone call saying that you can’t make it…
