Hey KVB, is there *ever* value on Kalshi in NBA or ATP/WTA tennis? I found odds to be subpar. Are the fees standard x% for a $50 bet or a $2000 bet? I bet small so that could be the reason

Even the prediction mark is for the financials are too wide. They’re not like Wall Street where they’re one cent and 2 cent wide in many products.

Nice hit here, way to be on top of it. I missed this opportunity.

I'm actually creating reports for the NBA but I haven't been betting it much at all. The value will be found LIVE trading, but the NBA can be tricky as fukk.

Really have to be patient with the NBA, it can be a roller coaster ride.

When it comes to pregame bets I think you have to be there early. These NBA lines aren't initally efficient and can move around a bit.

If you know what you're looking for, you can make limit orders and save on fees. The earlier you put them in, the more likely they will get filled. But you have to watch it, a line moving away from your order may not come back until after the game starts, which could be because they are getting beat up, lol.

Sounds like some broader server issues.

Chunks of day gone, it seems. It also sounds like it isn't the first time in recent days as Genie has a thread about some issues and I think there's some mention of earlier problems in that thread, maybe DDD discovered the issues a few days, I don't know. \

Hopefully posts get recovered. I had some golf names and prices bought.

If not, it is what it is.

It's crazy the way it's lined up. Thing is, for trading I have only been looking at 5 conferenes all year...ACC, Big12, Big10, Big East, and SEC

I'm expanding to a certain degree because of March Madness, but not much. I seek the higher volume, higher liquidity, and higher predictability of those major conferences for LIVE trading. There are other reasons too, but mostly it's what I just named.

Back to the salt mines and back mapping and gaming out tomorrow. I will design several parlays representing the flow of money through the market and once the chaos of Saturday begins, it will only be a matter of time before I figure out which one is the correct one.

Spreads are down with Creighton trailing 25-10 but I was able to somehow sell the ml for about .85 cents.

So I figured out what happened here. I made an error.

I accidentally bought the "NO" on Creighton and when they trailed, the value went up. Not sure why I thought I was looking at the Yes order book, I got lost in the numbers, lol.

So I faded creighton on the ML and sold when they were trailing double digits. A mistake that led to profit.

I sold the +3.5 spreads for .25 cents for a loss.

lol at this whole trade today.
