JJ Gold when Caitlin Clark checked out of the game for the final time ever collegiately

This is what happens when you don’t play with other good players it’s very hard to do it by yourself and I think she was dead tired

Yeah, nobody shuts down Clark, even Geno knows that.

It’s the rest of the team you deal with.

But everyone overlooking the game SC had. It was treeeemendous up and down the roster.

like I said, had they made more free throws it would’ve been a bigger blowout.

They held her to 5 assists, she usually gets more like 8.5-9.

She had 30 points and 8 boards. Led all players in scoring and the next highest scorer by more than 10 points.

SC solid bench really came through but SC weak in free throws or could have been a bigger blowout.

Good volume stats overall but most of her damage was done in the first quarter

She was ice cold when SC built a lead

And then forced a lot of bad shots in the 4th quarter when she should have let offense develop
