Jerky, do you watch this channel? It’s in Florida.

Back in the day as a youngster yes, but not recently since this beauty has took the stage. I will have to revisit this sports final show to cap off my night which would ultimately also lead to some relative porn search.

We’re in the exact same spot as the Texans on this final leg to cash out. Your ticket’s worth way more than mine, so I’m just letting it ride. Gotta ask yourself, what are your real goals for 2026 ? I’m not the hedging type my parlays are usually small, low-risk plays anyway.

So think about it, does locking in the 6K guaranteed profit move the needle toward your yearly targets, or is chasing the full 18K payout or more what you actually need to hit them ? Great question & I’m glad you are asking other experienced bettors their thoughts, smart gambler.
@justlooking I saw you posted the question in my thread too

I pretty much agree with this 100% and personally would let it ride

Good luck

Thanks for your opinion.

Hopefully, two trends get broken in order for the Texans to win.

My wife who knows absolutely nothing about football and almost always wrong picking teams also likes the Steelers. LOL

Thanks to @JDS and @stormtrooper8, I saved giving back $6,300 since I was going to hedge with Pittsburgh +3.0-105 for $6,300 at Hard Rock casino which I ended up not doing. I'm so glad that I asked and listened to your opinions. Thank you so much.

It was quite the sweat in the first half and the beginning of the 2nd half; especially with 3 turnovers by Stroud but it all worked out in the 4th quarter.

I really freaking hate watching games like these. Why can't all games be like Indiana vs Oregon? I had Indiana ML as the first leg of my parlay and it was one of the easiest games to watch.

Awesome win man. Congrats

Yes I was wondering if you hedged. Especially when it was 7-6 for so long and Houston blew the chance at a chippy field goal. Glad they broke it open late.

Thanks.

I was watching the game at Hard Rock casino's sportsbook in Atlantic City, NJ.

Right before the 2nd half started, I actually considered hedging for a smaller amount like $3,000 when the spread was at Pittsburgh +3.5-120 which I didn't like because of the higher juice.

By the time I walked up to the betting desk, the clerk said that they just closed so I couldn't make the bet and that saved me $3,000.

Timing is everything and this time it was in my favor. LOL

It was a good thing that I wasn't at Borgata since their betting desk is open much later than Hard Rock's and I would have lost.

Glad you didn’t and congrats on the win

Almost never worth it from an EV perspective

Thanks and you are right about not being worth it to hedge out.

My history of hedging out of large payout parlays is just horrible at probably 9 out of 10 times being on the wrong end and losing out in tens thousands.

Only once I hedged and it middled and ended up winning more like for $5K+ but on that hedge out at least I had a 6 point cushion so it was more reasonable. In last night's game, I had only 3 points to middle which is really tough and it ended up being a blowout win for the Texans.

I would be kicking myself right now if I hedged out and gave back $6K+ of the winnings.

JDS are you kicking yourself? If You were betting at least 1000 a game I think what happened you lost confidence when you’re on the losing streak you were probably betting a little too much but look at your handicapping abilities. If you just stick with one certain unit you’d have a lot more money.

I’m not beating myself up over anything. I managed to hold onto the bulk of what I won back in 2024 and moved it into a no-risk, interest-bearing account where it’s quietly doing its thing.

It was genuinely fun and a solid challenge to bet at that higher volume around $100 per game without sweating any single day’s card. I’ve reached a really comfortable spot right now, both in terms of confidence and unit size. No need to push harder. I’m content exactly where I’m at as a bettor for the foreseeable future.
