Looking at Approx Value list, Jason Kelce is 133.

4 of 6 guys got into HOF at 133, and I'd expect Frank Gore to eventually get in. So, I'd say that Jason is > 50/50. 7x Pro Bowl.
Good stat, Chuck. Looks like a long shot for Jason.

I am not familiar with other players in that list, but what team has the most players that have been included in the HOF?

Yes but almost all the guys with his accolades at the Center position i.e. multiple times first team all pro made the HOF. He is tied with 5 others with 6 first team all pro selections so I expect that to tip the scales in his favor when they evauluate his career. It's a question of not if but when he makes the HOF. Like I said he may not be a first ballot HOF'er but he'll get in.

Gummer, the more I researched it, I agree with you. I think he'll get in. I guess they'll be the Brother duo to make it, along with Peyton/Eli.

Evaluation of Off Linemen is tricky. There aren't a lot of guys breaking down film and doing play-by-play assignment scores. Off Linemen are normally rated on # Pro Bowls and # All Pros.

Even that is sketchy. If a young Lineman makes the Pro Bowl, they often get voted in several times after that. I know Jason has a good reputation, I'd be a fool to claim that I've watched all his game-tape.

I'll give one example on why the NFL Pro Bowl vote is sometimes a joke. Some years ago (2010?), Sean O'hara and Andre Gurode were the NFC Pro Bowl centers.

What did they have in common? Each guy got CUT from their team in the next Training Camp.

It's a pretty short list of Centers who made the HOF from the Super Bowl era. Can one reasonably include Jason's name with the likes of:
*Dawson, Langer, Mawae, Otto, Stephenson, and Webster?

I'll comment on a few of these:
*Webster is often viewed as the standard for center play. He was part of the nucleus on 4 World Champs. He had a long Ironman streak. As good as he was, Webster also represents the dark side of the game. His body was battered, and he died at a young age.

*Stephenson only played eight years. Retired early because of an injury. I'd argue that he was maybe the most athletic center I've seen. Stephenson's awesome play allowed a young Marino to burst on the scene. Marino benefited from quick receivers and great blocking to post record-setting numbers.

My point is that the barrier to entry should be high.
