i agree with you. i had refrained for a good month and foolishly got re-involved again this weekend with them. suffice to say it was bad.

thank you. i am really gunshy now. yesterday shook me up thinking why even bother betting. like i want to just bet a few dollars here and there and just not stress if it loses.

haven't had a day like that sports wise. in a casino yes. online casino (in the past) yes. but not sports betting.

As I'm always saying, "it's just a minor bump," it won't define your whole progress, but I like your idea of betting a few dollars and not stressing it out if it loses.

i like the idea as well. i am not as good as others here and need to either get better or just look at this as purely fun which means lowering my exposure. i am leaning toward the latter and if i get better i can always bet higher.

i also like the bump in the road analogy.

lower exposure is where I finally landed. Growing up and realizing that wagering the equivalent of a mortgage payment on a game isn't a good idea, that was a huge step for me. I bet lower amounts now and still get the rush. Won 11 straight over a week and a half span (Dec 26 -Jan 8) and never increased my bets

i respect the decision. i can get a rush even betting $1 so that does help. i got a little blinded with trying to make some extra money to cover something and i fell on my face.
