Anyone surprised bonds are dropping at the same time as stocks? Usually bonds are a safe haven when stocks are falling.

One analyst stated this is worrying because it likely means financial houses are selling bonds because they need to raise money to cover losses elsewhere. In other words, there may be more pain to come.

Why would you compare Trump to Biden?

Biden had declining health issues but never would have done this shit like Trump is doing. He was at worst a sensible guy and decent human being even if you don’t love his political ideology. He is an infinitely better human than Trump.

Trump doesn’t have an end game. He’s just a thin-skinned clown. Always has been.

The best thing you could say about him at this point is he just doing this shit to manipulate the stock market. Which is obviously morally fucked.

Everyone who has a brain knows that Trump was NEVER going to bring manufacturing back to the US. He won the election because he convinced depressed people in Michigan/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania that there would be prosperous coal towns again. He did that in 2016, realized it didn’t work in 2020, then did it again in 2024. In 2028 the Democrats will probably win those states.

Unfortunately our country is intellectually lazy, entitled, and not rational about a lot of things. Honestly that’s the most disturbing thing moving forward
