As you know I loan JJ money but he always pays me back with an ACH transfer, been this way for years with no issue. I never have done business with travelers checks though. What the hell is happening here???

You're good to go Fly. Travelers checks from JJ are fine.

Only once did he send them and then, while they were in the mail, reported them stolen. That was years ago though. We worked it out. Its all good.

Also, make sure their American Express or Visa travelers checks.
If not, they will be tough to cash.
