As promised, I went to the best jewish deli there is and got me a hot pastrami on rye with potato pancakes for a side. Then I headed over to my old neighborhood where I became a legend in these streets and had myself a quiet little picnic.

Everything in that place is homemade/handmade right there including the rye bread my sandwich was on.

Everything made right there. You ain't gonna find places like this no more.

It is a dying breed Bobby.

Millennials have moved into Philly from places like Ohio, Kentucky, Kansas, Oklahoma and they don't have the traditions we do which is one of the reasons they want to be here in the first place.

But they're not the people and they don't come from the people who started these traditions. So of course they can't carry on something they know nothing about.

It's fukked up but happening all over.
