Iga Swiatek has accepted a one-month suspension after testing positive for a banned heart medication, the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced.

Seems like they are being very lenient with stars like Sinner and Iga

Sport is struggling mightily.

No way they are going to ban one of the few bright spots any length of time - just call it a “accident” say “I’ll never do it again” while meaning “I’ll never get CAUGHT doing it again” and let them move on.

I think it also has to do with type of enhancer found and levels of it

I think it is good they dont have blanket bans where taking melatonin gets same ban as GH or anavar

Couple questions:

• How does TMZ get in melatonin? Contamination at the pharmaceutical plant?
• How is any player supposed to know when non-prescription drugs such as melatonin have trace amounts of prohibited stuff in them? Its like they can't take anything OTC out of fear of contamination.

Sounds like the punishment fit the crime. No intent = lenient action.
