Told my son along time ago being a professional gambler might be the hardest job on the planet. Taught him rather how to be a responsible gambler on a lower level to help pay some of the bills and keep the lights on. At 16 years old he was using my domestic accounts to play player props. One summer he made a $1,000 profit, but realized that was a small sample size and the next two years he gave half of that back. I'm glad he moved on to another avenue on how to make money and now he is flourishing with the company he is working for. He makes more money than I do on average no cap, he's on his marry way.

i wouldn't mind it but i would want my child to be smarter than me. i would preach bankroll management and monitoring amount bet and value in lines. if i see my child betting a hundred a game just for action, then that is a problem.

like anything, you have to make sure it doesn't consume them. this goes for sex, alcohol, etc.
