Clean house. Mccarthy, Quinn. Both should be gone. Quinn is one of the most overrated coaches in the nfl. His atlanta defenses used to get torched by every good team they played. Same thing in dallas

The path looks good for Niners

Get to avoid Cowboys and Rams
Seems too good to be true for us Niner fans. If you told me that by the time the divisional round rolled around the Rams, Cowboys and Eagles would be done I wouldn't have believed you and now that they are I'm ecstatic about my Niners chances to make the Super Bowl. Still have to play the games and bring their A game but to me the Rams and the Cowboys as well as the Eagles presented their biggest obstacles to winning the NFC.

Assuming its Det that faces 49ers in NFC championship, I can't see how its less than a 6 pt edge for the 49ers. Its more if its TB.

Might be seeing 49ers/Bal SB.

They have to be focused, avoid injuries, and most of all -- avoid mistakes

But if they play their game, they will take care of Packers and Lions/Bucs winner

And for that matter, they will win it all

Ravens have to overcome rust/choke factor . I think they will in at least the first game

If they face Bills, they'll be fine

If they face Chiefs, they could be in some trouble

I just don't see the chiefs playing well enough to get to SB. Biggest weakness is in their WRs.
I bet they set a team record in drops by their receivers this year.

For the teams that are left... SF and BAL look best on paper. KC looks middle of the pack kind of team.

But more recent performance by TB and especially GB throws in a lot of uncertainty on how teams will perform in the next two weeks.

DVOA Rank Offense:
#1 SF
#3 BUF
#4 BAL
#5 DET
#6 GB
#8 KC
#14 HOU
#20 TB
DVOA Rank Defense:
#1 BAL
#4 SF
#7 KC
#12 BUF
#13 DET
#14 TB
#16 HOU
#27 GB

Wouldn’t suggest following DVOA as a way to rank teams

Lot of noise to consider

Plus have to factor in recent history

The playoffs are different than the regular season

DVOA one of many measures.
Recent performace is more leveraging but it does give some idea of how well a teams Off/Def compares to their opponents.

I’d agree that Chiefs more vulnerable this year overall because of their WR corp

But they’re actually moving the ball pretty well right now — settling for too many FG’s

However they are more built to play ugly games with their defense, kicker, RB now.

A lot of metrics overlap but they pretty much tell you same thing and need way more context.

Chiefs are a better team than people realize, despite not having as much punch on the perimeter

They’re just built to play a different brand of football this year

And they have every intangible working their way: Bills and Ravens choking recently, Texans young, etc

I could see the Texans upsetting the Ravens this weekend. NOT LIKELY but a possibility.

You mentioned Ravens rust and I also think Texans on a high since Stroud's return may psuh them over the top.

If I were to play Texans ML, it would be small but it feels feasible.
