IMO that word used in that context should not be offensive anymore in 2023 to anybody. That word has evolved and all it means is another human being. I know people will disagree with me, but that’s how I feel.

Anyone that takes offense to a "word" has some serious problems. Someone can call me a Kike all day long, I could care less and there are people that take extreme offense to that word.
