As I’m not tied to a physical job most days, I have the freedom to dedicate as much time as needed to this fasting goal without any distractions, and I’m also stepping away from gambling during this period. Plus, by sharing this commitment publicly, I’m holding myself accountable, as it’s much harder to fail privately and brush it off without consequences.

👍🍺

And you’re doing it in MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!!! Hopefully you’re not going to a party or anything…..

If I can successfully complete this 100-hour fast, I believe it will enhance my mental discipline, helping me become a more effective sports bettor. It could provide the patience I need to carefully select the best daily betting opportunities. I’ve been struggling with this for nearly a year, despite it being one of my strengths as a gambler since joining BMR.
In all seriousness good luck pal

Would be a tremendous feat

Good Luck JDS. You’re a smart guy. If something happens along the way that makes you abort the attempt, think it through and make a smart choice.
You can always start again.
Not me discouraging you, just stay safe.
Short of that, along the way, maybe use of the time to reflect on your overall approach as you can always adjust to your plays or game plans in a calm process. There might be something you can change to improve your approach, your outlook or your day to day decision making. Or, maybe not. Either way, be comfortable in your own decisions and trust your instincts.
Measure twice … cut once, was a phrase a real smart man said to me a long time ago. The older I get, the more I think about that. It has served me well. I hope it can do the same for you sir.
All the best.

Dude I needed to hear exactly this. Thank you so much for your advice. Having read this my chances are that much stronger !!! As a fellow former construction worker myself, measure twice & cut once was RULE #1 all day everyday 💯

Brain retraining? Nah, mine’s too busy planning the next snack attack 🤪
You look pretty damn skinny in your avatar pic, the snacks can add some weight to your hips & ass so not a bad thing for you. Since I've already asked this question already to another member, I'm extending it to you. What is your age height & weight, seems like you are more active these days on the forum, so I feel comfortable asking you this as well ?

Im kicking myself not doing this sooner

It took two weeks but I crave movement now

going to incorporate weights once I am below 200. Haven’t been below 200 since I was 25.
I'm sure your mental state of mind is solid right now. Yeah it's definitely harder to lose weight when you lift, which I do about 2-3 times a week, that's why I need to fast to accelerate weight loss. I can't burn a whole lot of calories in a day because still to this day I deal with herniated discs in my lower lumbar.

You know what I love ? No one here would question the validity of what really happens in the next 84 hours, and I've worked very hard to accomplish that lol.
