honestly, a 3.

i've been in BRUTAL pain since thursday. slept on my neck wrong which inflamed past injuries in both my upper and lower back. pain radiating to shoulders and hips so it's hard to move. doctor appointment on thursday for it because nothing has changed..assumed its nerve shit.

THEN, my dang car isn't working right. need a new steering lock, plus an oil change. so thats a hit in the sack.

then the usual non-stop schedule of working, being a caregiver, and a "housewife" 🥲

however, i will survive
Get better Le and everything will be okay! Stay strong💪

9/10

-Just lost 15 pounds by eating half the carbs I normally do. Still eat the same foods.
-Just started a good job that pays what I need to take me into retirement.
-Investments doing great.
-Gambling going well.
-I had problems with joints swelling in the past but those are pain free.

The only way it could be better is if I was already retired.

Really can't lock in a number. My life the last 2 years, especially, is as erratic as my sportsbook reloads. Some days it feels like a 1 and others feel blessed and is a 9. In reality, a solid answer lifetime would be 6.5.

Be careful what you wish for. I have changed my opinion on retirement the last 2 years. Those daily grind relationships you build are priceless.
Thanks for the feedback. My neighbor retired a couple years ago. I asked him how it was going and he said it was great having all the freedom but it was sometimes tough finding enough to do all day.

I'm thinking of moving to Mexico for a few months a year and doing some volunteering there. My friend/realtor grew up there and his wife is from there and they both say people in the small villages are very social.

We'll see.

That sounds wonderful. I think any kind of working remotely or travel position would be amazing as well. Get a loaded RV and travel where the weather is nice
