Want to read a good book and learn some new words?

Try The Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Not a long read (~150 pages). It's roughly the story that Apocalypse Now was based on minus the war. Its about a guy in the 1800s assigned by his trading company to go and seek out a the manager of a trading post who has become a "psycho" god to the locals that he trades with and leads. Takes place deep in the African jungle.

The author, J. Conrad had an incredible vocabulary. Every now and then I have to stop to look up some of the words he's using. Have a dictionary or thesaurus close by.

I'll check that out

Sounds Ike an episode I once saw on one of those daily court shows

This guy used words ive me we heard in every single sentences

It was so bad (or good) that he judge kept asking him to reiterate in terms he could understand

I did a lot of things. In the end though I ran a business selling on Amazon. Got in when it was really good and easy. Got out when everybody and their mama started selling on Amazon.

Might read a book on the shitter later.
