Houston had 3 timeouts and I think buffalo felt they needed at least one 1st down or they would be punting from goal line and giving the ball back to Texans too close to fg range after puntingBuffalo with 1st down on 3 yard line with 21 seconds to go. I would fire the coach and tell him not to get on the plane. Time and play mismanagement at an all time low.
So you lose in regulation regardless of the situation? At least make them use the timeouts if that is your fear. That game has to go to overtime as a coach. You cannot lose that Game in regulation. Just my honest opinion.Houston had 3 timeouts and I think buffalo felt they needed at least one 1st down or they would be punting from goal line and giving the ball back to Texans too close to fg range after punting
Yeah not saying I agree but pretty sure that was their thinking & concernSo you lose in regulation regardless of the situation? At least make them use the timeouts if that is your fear. That game has to go to overtime as a coach. You cannot lose that Game in regulation. Just my honest opinion.

I don’t know how anyone can defend that management of the clock at the end.
I didn’t know he played that poorly. I guess it wasn’t worth waiting until overtime to lose.Allen was 9-27 passing before that last possession. Maybe they figured he could complete 1 of 3 passes.

The game wasn’t tied after the fourth quarterHow did the Buffalo/Houston game not go to Overtime?
Look at every post in this thread and you will see you are the ONLY one who doesn’t know what was happening situationally during the last 21 seconds of a tied game. The game wasn’t tied after the fourth quarter
Buffalo scored fewer points (10) against a porous Baltimore defense last week. I’m not sure Houston is the Steel Curtain or Purple People Eaters. Not sure what this was from Buffalo.
Houston the best defense Bills played so far this season?
I watched the entire Houston-Buffalo game start to finish.Look at every post in this thread and you will see you are the ONLY one who doesn’t know what was happening situationally during the last 21 seconds of a tied game.
And by the way you do have misinformation in your original post like KVB said.Buffalo with 1st down on 3 yard line with 21 seconds to go. I would fire the coach and tell him not to get on the plane. Time and play mismanagement at an all time low.
