I was looking at the early lines and I don't understand why Auburn was even favored.

Auburn: 6-6

So yeah, maybe something happened the time they release the early lines.

Some serious money came in on Houston this morning. All the books are showing a Houston +2 to +3 line drop to -1 to -3 (depending upon the book) right before game time.

I don't think the players that are sitting out (NFL prospects or covid) weren't enough to drive that line move.
