Sometimes you hear this happening in smaller schools where they don’t have enough kids to field a team.

42-0 was the closest loss they had all season and games had to finish with a running clock??

I remember in middle school we’d do the running clock thing when we were beating teams by four or five touchdowns in the fourth quarter but never in high school.

You know, I think JJ would make a good coach. He can find a way to motivate the kids.

Big school - lots of well off families - but all the talent gets siphoned off to other schools.

So what you have are a bunch of kids who wouldn’t make the team normally starting at a school that plays other large schools in Central NC - kind of tough to compete in that environment.

Kind of surprised a couple of alumni aren’t paying to get some talent on the team. It’s NC so football isn’t as big as it is in certain areas - but it’s still high school and usually a few alumni who will step up in any area. Guess the hard times in the furniture industry are hurting every part of the economy down in HP.
