Help - Selecting a High Quality Bourbon (also going with Colts -2 tonight)

My son-in-law loves his bourbon. I'm pretty much a Jim Beam guy so I don't have a lot of experience with the higher end brands.

I'm looking at buying him a couple higher end bottles as one of his x-mas gifts but the reviews I've read are all over the map. I realize there are different versions (wheat, rye, blended, etc...) but he drinks a variety so I'm not as concerned about picking the right "flavor".

Any suggestions from those of you who are bourbon drinkers for a something <$80 for a fifth?





Also I like the Colts -2 tonight. Not a big play since we have to depend upon Ryan but, I think the Steelers are bad enough to lose this without Colts trying too hard.

I've had that edawg. Good taste.

Didn't get to drink much of it though. Poker buddies raided my liquor cabinet when I was hosting and drank it. I've reloaded the bottle with some Kentucky Deluxe. Those SOBs won't be able to tell the difference.

I bought some Four Roses bourbon tonight. I haven't tasted it yet but it smells better than Knob Creek. I'll report back in the thread once I've tasted it.
