My dad (RIP) suffered from psoriasis for a very long time. I missed him so much btw. I am not sure if this is a hereditary transmitted disease but my skin is very dry, especially my hand no matter how many liters of water I drink per day. That's why I always have a lotion and hand cream with me wherever I go. Also my tumbler.

Or sometimes I'll chew the meat for flavor and then spit it out because the bite size was too big

Consistent exercise is always a great help, Pig.

I heard a lot of celebrities locally and in Hollywood once with lupus. Is there a main medication for this one, Harry?
I take Hydroxychlorquine and a couple other to boost my immune system I don't have the real bad one that dissolve the organs thank God but the nerves and joints are important as well so I try and keep up with the health of that

on my ancestors, i should probably go to the doctor too..

a few months ago, i was walking down the hallway of my house and ended up feinting...hit my head on the doorway. all i remember was chaos...lots of lights and sounds. woke up to my bf screaming my name over me/holding me. sorry for tmi, but i did pee myself and he told me he thought i was having a seizure. idk what it was. i dont feel unhealthy, i eat well, exercise. i guess im scared to go and hear some shit i dont want to hear.

Thank God it's not the worst one, Harry.. but still. Stress is your number one enemy so try to avoid that at all costs.

Don't hesitate to go for a check-up, Le. It's better to know the answer and get scared today than to know it later on, but then it's too late.

youre absolutely right, i guess i dont think about it cause i'm busy taking care of others..lesson here, take care of yourself
think it’s easy to not think about it at our relatively young age but we gotta take care of ourselves too :)

I had my annual check up last month. First one in 3 years, doctor started me on blood pressure meds. My mom had really high BP, she passed away 2021 from congestive heart failure. She didn't take her meds as prescribed.
See a dentist twice a year also. I have spent around 30K for crowns and implants since 2018. Going for my 2X a year cleaning this afternoon.

Working in the construction trade is a tough field. You’ve done it probably way longer than me in your career. These health issues we both share are contributors to our physical work.

I know you’re a foreman now and you run jobs, but I’m sure many years before that you were working in the field as a journeyman electrician. It takes a toll on our body, at least for me with my lower back. I can’t do it full-time anymore.

I hear you pal. I always wear a back support during my entire shift. Helps keep me in the game. I did a lot of EMT pipe bending in my career, as you know, there’s a lot of bending over for measurements & bends.

I am curious what kinds of health issues (hopefully not life threatening for anyone ) do posters here have. I’ll start……

I have some issues going on but the worst one by far are my floaters. I have serious issues with my eyes. I have thousands of floaters in each eye. Anyone else here have floaters?
I have one relatively big one but it's mostly off to the side of my vision so I rarely notice it.

My eye doctor said you can have the fluid sucked out of your eye and replaced (I think with saline). The problem is that almost 100% of the people that have that done develop cataracts. That surgery is relatively easy though.

I would like to suggest looking into possibly getting your eye fluid replaced. Even though floaters are the result of the retina flaking off, the procedure does nothing to touch the retina.

My only health concern is that my blood pressure is getting elevated. It's usually in the 140s/90s range. Normal blood pressure is 120s/70s.
