I am curious what kinds of health issues (hopefully not life threatening for anyone ) do posters here have. I’ll start……

I have some issues going on but the worst one by far are my floaters. I have serious issues with my eyes. I have thousands of floaters in each eye. Anyone else here have floaters?

Only floater I ever had was the one’s @ Islamorada in my piña colada’s. I’ve discussed with you my lower lumbar issues in the past on the side. On a positive note, I am feeling better because I have affordable insurance now with the proper non-narcotic meds & a few ESI shots to that area. God is good Flyer as you know if you keep the faith.

never heard of a floater other than in the toilet

I have a tiny esophagus...insert dikk jokes here. I should have died at least 2-3x. 1 time I had a piece of steak stuck in my throat for 6+ hours and had to get it surgically removed. Couldn't even swallow my saliva. Don't know how I didn't die that night.

I'm not on any medicine or anything, I just have to chew my food before swallowing. Or sometimes I'll chew the meat for flavor and then spit it out because the bite size was too big

YES...many dikk jokes to be made here, but it's true

No wonder you’re so skinny, you physically can’t even eat enough to become overweight. I guess that’s a blessing and a curse, but you know how to control it & what not to do.

Eye floaters are the worst, people commit suicide from them. They are the worst thing ever. The surgery is very risky and most retina specialist refuse to even do the surgery.

I think there is a procedure (quick day surgery) that will stretch/widen your esophagus. Maybe worth looking into if you haven't already.

This is my vision but 20x worse, even when my eyes are closed.
Sometimes I get that too actually, but not 20X worse & it usually last only a couple hours. This will only happen a half dozen times a year as well. I hope & pray it gets better for you Flyer. Are you considering eye surgery even those the risks outweigh the advantages it seems ?

I have them 365 days a year 24 hours a day, they don't go away. I want to do the surgery but pretty scared to do it. Only a handful of retina surgeons do the surgery in America, maybe like 20-25 in the whole country.

That’s gotta be annoying af, & can be a huge mental battle I‘m sure for you seeing through the blurred foggy vision.

I've had bad joints since I was a teenager (not that kind of joint). I'm able to manage it fairly well with exercise and avoiding repetitive stress, so I'm usually not in pain. I have my moments, though.

I have a theory that one of the best things for chronic pain is not to dwell on it. A person could psych themselves into feeling much worse by fixating on it imo.

My hands and joints get sore and I try and stay away from Alcohol. As it makes it worse I just visit with Bob Marley every night to ease the pain my friend. Haha

Consistent exercise is always a great help, Pig.

I heard a lot of celebrities locally and in Hollywood once with lupus. Is there a main medication for this one, Harry?
