Will be going to gym tonight. Planning on rehab stretch and strenghtening excercises for both fractured toe and tennis elbow.

I feel the tennis elbow pain may turned a corner so I am starting slow.

Eccentric curls, isometric wrist extension, stretching, nerve flossing, finger stretches, and various grip strengthening as I advance.

Passive toe stretches, toe curls, calf stretches, and then towel scrunches and marble pickups as I advance. Will also be using excercise bands to strentgthen the ankle alongside my rehab.

Would like to get to a stage where I can to the hen peckers or whatever where I stand up straight and lean forward using my toes to maintain balance. I can not do that now.

Depending on how I feel inside the shoe I may spend 2 to 5 minutes on the elliptical, but that may be a week or more away.

There will be no machines or weight lifting for at least a couple more weeks of daily rehab, but that is subject to change.

Icing as necessary at the end of the sessions and IFC stimulation on the arm.

I have December set for mulitple acupunture appointments a week even though I do not know if I will need it, and where I might need it.

On top of the rehab sessions I intend to incorporate a core workout beginning with leg lifts and rewvers leg lifts while lying on the ground.

Not going to use the scrunch machine yet, but will be on it soon, even if I'm using a wrist strap to stay planked. We'll see about that.

While there will be no weights, if the elbow is at all symptom free I will get back to balance pushups on the balance trainer, but I am in no hurry to get there.

when you start moving again. maybe try tendon loading isometrics for 10-14 days first

Yeah, had Radiofrequency burns on 5 levels of my neck 10 days ago, left side.

Going again for right side on Thursday.

Can't do much during these weeks, last Monday was clearly too soon.

We'll see what happens before Thursday this week. Otherwise, could need two weeks for recovery of right side.

Going nuts though, twice this year I ramped up the diet and working out and reached a peak, need to get back to that point.

Question KVB.
Did you ever develop hip issues wearing the boot on your foot for extended periods? My hip is killing me and I think its the damn boot.

No, I tried not to walk arouind too much with the boot. I was really stuck in the boot with a bad ankle sprain during the COVID year, but avoided other problems like the hips then too.

No doubt hobbling around can mess up the hips though.

Were you on crutches at all or just walking around in the boot? Probably wise to try to stay off of it for a couple of weeks then move around with the boot with less of a limp.

But if hip is already hurting start stretching at least, that could help.

You might have to take a couple of days of a lot less movement. When the hip starts bugging you, stop what you're doing...easier said than done sometimes.

Things will right themselves, you just need some time.

I’ll give you credit with your workout regimen, far better than whatever I could certainly do.
