yep sounds like the intros to the 30s like I remember. it only gets worse as you age if you don't move.
regressions, accomodations, compromises to work around minor injuries is a process you kind of have to learn for yourself and your own body.

I see so many knee and hip injuries that lead to bigger longer term injuries up and down the kinetic chain and the SI joint due to compensating and limping. if I were you, is take some time online to kind of self diagnosis and find some gentle movements you can do for hip within your available range. rest, heat/ice and try to identify if it was impact related... (running on pavement in old or inadequate shoes after a lay off ) or more soft tissue strain/inflammation.
