He’s an original - that’s for certain.

Never quite got him in a way - he talks about all the fake ass people in the industry, but pretended to be from Texas in his early days. He was very much from SE Ohio and got his start playing down there before moving to Nashville.

I get it - Texas was selling at the time, but why not just be honest. He’s down around Cincinnati these days - last time I knew he was back home was probably a decade or more ago - long before the accident. He came home for the funeral for the lady who gave him a start at her bar. He has a little class I guess - but man is he a confusing as hell guy at times - talking one way and acting another.
